Project Engineer (Retrofit)

Project Engineer - Retrofit Team Role Overview The Project Engineer will work as a member of the Retrofit team to manage and provide the necessary engineering detail so that solutions can be built safely, to all relevant standards and cost effectively. Project Engineers work on multiple projects with values from 50k up to 5 million and ensure the development of engineered solutions from customer commitment through implementation and handover. The role is based out of the Market Harborough office and the successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly to sites across Northern Europe. Key Responsibilities Design and Engineering: Translates customer requests into design solutions with support from the Project Engineering Team Leader and others Reviews design operational feasibility Reviews Material Flow Diagrams in conjunction with the Simulation department Conducts value engineering of solutions Prepares appropriate system layouts to provide solutions to customer requirements Prepares site mechanical installation packs Prepares detailed specifications and design documents needed for production Reviews equipment design and specifications to ensure standardisation of design across all projects Reviews equipment throughputs and capacities in conjunction with the Simulation Department Project Documentation and Management Prepares project technical summaries Develops technical specifications for 3rd party equipment Conducts technical analysis of 3rd party equipment ..... full job details .....
