Project Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Project Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering projects across London. The successful candidate will support the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure packages, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors and design teams to ensure works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer with a strong civils background who is looking to develop their experience across major infrastructure, groundworks, reinforced concrete, drainage and utilities projects. ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Manager with the day-to-day planning and delivery of civil engineering works.Coordinate site activities across groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, utilities and general infrastructure packages.Review construction drawings, technical specifications and engineering information to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the design.Undertake setting-out checks, site measurements and dimensional control in coordination with the site engineering team.Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical queries and design discrepancies.Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), technical submittals, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and method statements.Monitor site progress against programme and report on potential delays, ..... full job details .....
