Project Engineer - Rail Systems Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire Full-time 37.5 hours Flexible workingA well-established rail engineering business is seeking a Project Engineer to support the technical delivery of control systems projects across the Rail Systems division.The RoleReporting to the Project Manager, you will support the delivery of rail projects from design through to site activities, testing and commissioning. You will work closely with senior engineers, project teams and clients to ensure technical, safety and quality requirements are met.Key Responsibilities Support engineering delivery across rail control systems projectsProduce specifications, designs, drawings and technical documentationSupport management of technical interfaces with clients and stakeholdersAssist with site surveys, installation support, testing and commissioningEnsure compliance with QHSE, CDM and rail industry standardsReview technical specifications and provide technical support to clients and suppliersInvestigate site issues and support corrective actions and lessons learnedSkills and Experience Rail industry experience within control systems environmentsExposure to SCADA, BMS, SISS and/or mobile solutionsWorking knowledge of Network Rail, BS, ISO, Safety and CDM standardsAbility to work independently and support multiple project activitiesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Technical Skills (Desirable) Safety Functional / TÜV certificationProgramming or ..... full job details .....
