Project Engineer

We are working with a leading consultancy to recruit a Project Engineer/Design Manager with a strong Electrical design background, ideally with exposure to renewable energy projects such as solar PV, to support a major programme of works at a major UK airport. This role will form part of a wider infrastructure and terminal expansion programme, delivering a range of projects within a live, operational environment. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions across multiple concurrent schemes.Key ResponsibilitiesYour core duties will include:Leading and supporting the design and technical delivery of electrical-focused infrastructure projectsDefining project scope, requirements and design briefs, ensuring alignment with programme and business objectivesProviding technical assurance on electrical design outputs, ensuring compliance with standards and operational requirementsCoordinating external consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutionsSupporting delivery of electrical and energy-related systems, including renewable technologies such as solar PV (where applicable)Driving safe, efficient and cost-effective design outcomes, considering operational constraints and sustainability goalsSupporting design integration and change control throughout the project lifecycleWorking closely with delivery teams to ensure construction aligns with design intent, quality and programme requirementsFacilitating ..... full job details .....
