Project Engineer

You will be involved in a variety of projects which have a focus on hydro-mechanical systems. A background in penstock and valve integration would be ideal, but candidates from a strong mechanical background will be considered. This role blends design, calculation, specification writing, and on-site engineering support. The successful candidate will be technically strong, highly practical, and comfortable working in both office and site environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and integration of penstocks, valves, gates, and associated hydro-mechanical equipmentCarry out structural and hydraulic calculations, including thrust block and leakage analysisPrepare and review general arrangement drawings, fabrication details, and installation drawingsProduce technical specifications, scope documents, and project reportsSupport procurement by reviewing supplier designs and documentationEnsure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and project requirementsCreate accurate 2D/3D models and drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)Manage drawing revisions and contribute to design reviewsLiaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure buildability and qualityProvide engineering support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioningSite work, conducting inspections, surveys, and problem-solvingCandidate ProfileEssential skills and experienceDegree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related ..... full job details .....
