Project Engineer

Contract Length: 9 month minimum
Rate: -70 per hour Outside IR35
Location: Milton Keynes - minimum 3 days per week on site

• Support delivery of large-scale ground-mounted solar projects through construction and completion
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and project requirements
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Carry out setting out, surveying and site measurements
• Complete site inspections and quality checks
• Track progress against the project programme
• Identify and report issues, delays and technical queries
• Maintain project records and documentation
• Ensure works meet project specifications, quality and H&S requirements
• Support the Project Manager with project delivery and site coordination

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar
• Experience working on ground-mounted solar farms or large-scale renewable projects
• Good understanding of construction and site delivery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with setting out and surveying
• Comfortable working with CAD and technical documentation
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Able to work on site in Milton Keynes at least 3 days per week

• Experience on large-scale solar projects, ideally 30MW+
• Renewable energy or electrical infrastructure experience
• SMSTS, SSSTS, IOSH or similar H&S qualification
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Experience supporting projects through construction to completion
