Project Engineer - Ipswich

About the role We are looking for a Project Engineer - Overhead Lines (OHL) to join our Power TandD team in Ipswich, supporting the delivery of the BTNO project . Working alongside the Project Manager, Project Director, and the wider project team, you will be accountable for ensuring successful delivery from design through to handover. Key Responsibilities Lead project activities across planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning, and close-out phases. Develop and formalise the engineered delivery solution, briefing it clearly to the working party. Manage and support site teams, promoting a safe, compliant, and high-performing work culture. Ensure full alignment with project and customer requirements, maintaining control over time, cost, quality, and safety objectives. Proactively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence What you''ll be doing Lead and attend project reviews / project meetings Have an awareness of the Digital Briefcase Maintain accurate project records (progress, daily diaries etc.) Prepare both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders Helps to ensure reports provide relevant information to enable informed, cost- effective decisions in line with overall strategy Helps to ensure scope and package assignment supports the team in coordinated working Specify, understand, develop and implement technical information and drawings into delivery Understanding and specify plant and ..... full job details .....
