Project Engineer

About this position: We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support the restart and finalisation of an ongoing project at a large brewery. The project was previously paused and is now restarting, with the aim of increasing brewhouse capacity and allowing faster filling through the installation of new valve blocks and a dual filling system. The equipment installation is approximately 90% complete, with the remaining scope focused on mechanical and electrical connections, commissioning, start-up and ramp-up. This role will take ownership of the project through to operational handover. Job Responsibilities: Manage the restart and finalisation of the existing project. Supervise the mechanical and electrical connection of valve blocks. Coordinate contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to programme. Oversee commissioning, start-up and ramp-up activities. Support the implementation and operation of the dual filling system. Coordinate between mechanical, electrical and operational teams. Monitor project progress, identify issues and drive activities through to completion. Ensure all outstanding works are completed and the system is successfully handed over to operations. Experience Required: Previous Project Engineering experience within an industrial environment. Strong experience with valve blocks, installation and commissioning.
