Project Engineer

About this position:

We are currently recruiting for a-Project Engineer-to support the restart and finalisation of an ongoing project at a large brewery. The project was previously paused and is now restarting, with the aim of increasing brewhouse capacity and allowing faster filling through the installation of new valve blocks and a dual filling system.
The equipment installation is approximately-90% complete, with the remaining scope focused on mechanical and electrical connections, commissioning, start-up and ramp-up. This role will take ownership of the project through to operational handover.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the restart and finalisation of the existing project.
• Supervise the mechanical and electrical connection of valve blocks.
• Coordinate contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to programme.
• Oversee commissioning, start-up and ramp-up activities.
• Support the implementation and operation of the dual filling system.
• Coordinate between mechanical, electrical and operational teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues and drive activities through to completion.
• Ensure all outstanding works are completed and the system is successfully handed over to operations.

Experience Required:
-

• Previous-Project Engineering-experience within an industrial environment.
• Strong experience with-valve blocks, installation and commissioning.
• Good-mechanical and electrical-knowledge.
• Proven experience managing and coordinating contractors.
• Experience overseeing-commissioning, start-up and ramp-up-activities.
• Ability to take ownership of an existing project and drive it through to completion.
• Brewery, food & beverage or process industry experience would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
