Project Engineer

We''re recruiting for a Project Manager / Project Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business supplying premium automotive customers, including Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

You''ll be responsible for managing customer projects from quotation through to production, working closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Quality to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage automotive customer projects from quotation to production
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout each programme
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects
• Lead project meetings and provide regular customer updates
• Manage project timing, risks, costs and engineering changes

Experience Required:

• Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Programme Engineer within the automotive industry
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, NPI or product launch activities
• Experience with electrical or electronic engineering projects would be beneficial
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
