Project Engineer

About this position: We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong Electrical Engineering background to support projects at a leading manufacturing facility in Slough. The successful candidate will have experience within the Food, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Automation sectors and be confident managing projects within a live production environment. A strong understanding of Control Systems and proven experience working with electrical and automation systems is essential. Job Responsibilities: Manage the delivery of electrical and automation projects from start to finish. Coordinate and oversee contractors and subcontractors on-site. Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Support installation, commissioning, and handover activities. Monitor project progress and resolve any technical or delivery issues. Provide technical input and support around Control Systems and automation. Ensure compliance with site health and safety standards. Experience Required: Electrical Engineering background with relevant qualifications. Previous Project Engineering experience within Food, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Automation environments. Strong understanding of Control Systems, with a good level of hands-on or project-based experience. Proven experience managing contractors on industrial sites.
