      <description>Location: Hamble-le-Rice | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Project Engineer (Facilities Projects) - 6 Month Contract (Possible Extension / Permanent)    Location:  Southampton   Contract:  Temporary - 6 months (with potential extension or permanent opportunity)   Hours:  Day shift (site-based)   Salary/Rate:  Negotiable (dependent on experience)      Overview   Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of multiple facilities and utilities projects across the site. The role will manage end-to-end project activity across a portfolio that includes HVAC, chilled water systems and compressor replacement/upgrade works. This is a hands on delivery role requiring strong stakeholder management, contractor control, and a focus on safe execution and high-quality handover.   Key Responsibilities    Manage a portfolio of facilities/engineering projects from scope definition through to installation, commissioning and handover.  Lead delivery of projects including (but not limited to) HVAC upgrades, chilled water works and compressed air/compressor replacement.
