A vacancy currently exists for a Project Engineer to play a vital role in delivering equipment and process upgrades, supporting plant maintenance strategy, and driving operational excellence at one of the company s Energy from Waste (EfW) facilities in Kent. You ll lead the development, planning, installation, and commissioning of projects that increase plant reliability and performance. Candidate Requirements: We re looking for a proactive and experienced engineering professional who thrives in a high-performance environment. You will have: A minimum of 5 years experience in Energy from Waste, Power, or similar heavy industries Strong project management skills, ideally with MS Project experience In-depth knowledge of steam turbines, generators, pressure systems, and NDT Experience with Maintenance Management Systems and statutory inspections Degree-level qualification (or extensive equivalent experience) IOSH or NEBOSH safety accreditation Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills A team player who can also deputise for senior team leaders when required Main Duties: Delivering capital projects from concept through to commissioning Managing contractors and overseeing project safety and ..... full job details .....
