The OpportunityA skilled and motivated Project Engineer is required to join a dynamic engineering team working across gas infrastructure projects nationwide. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the successful candidate will manage projects from feasibility through to commissioning, ensuring technical integrity, safety compliance, and commercial success. This is a key role with exposure to all stages of project development - from design and planning to on-site delivery and stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery Lead full-cycle delivery of gas infrastructure projects, including installationsMaintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelinesCoordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies Engineering and Design Prepare functional specifications, drawings, and supporting documentationPerform engineering calculations to recognised industry standardsReview and approve contractor designs and submittals Compliance and Safety Ensure all works comply with relevant UK codes and safety regulationsParticipate in hazard and risk reviewsSupport permit allocation and regulatory documentation Installation and Commissioning Oversee site installation and commissioning activitiesConduct inspections, ..... full job details .....
