Project Engineer - Civils

Westlakes Recruit are currently supporting a leading civil engineering contractor in the search for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on major infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineering professional who combines leadership capability with commercial awareness and enjoys driving project delivery from design through to construction. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.The RoleAs Project Engineer, you will work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and site delivery teams to provide technical leadership across all stages of the project lifecycle. You will lead and support Senior Engineers and wider engineering teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors and suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial and Contractual ManagementEnsure technical compliance with contract requirements.Liaise with clients, consultants and third parties on technical matters.Monitor delays, variations, risks and events that may impact project delivery.Support cost control, commercial reporting and contract administration activities.Contribute to claims management and dispute resolution processes where required.Engineering and Technical DeliveryProvide technical leadership across all engineering activities.Resolve complex setting out and construction issues.Ensure compliance ..... full job details .....
