Project Engineer

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with Krystal Technology UK Ltd, a specialist manufacturer of high-purity fused quartz and fused silica components serving the semiconductor, photonics, industrial and scientific sectors, with their search for an experienced Project Engineer. Overall Purpose:Support the delivery of engineering projects across our manufacturing operation from concept through to completion.Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and international colleagues, you will coordinate multiple engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.The role combines practical engineering knowledge with structured project management and offers exposure to bespoke manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Duties: Deliver engineering projects from concept through to installation, commissioning and handover.Develop practical engineering solutions to improve manufacturing processes, equipment reliability and operational efficiency.Produce, review and modify mechanical designs and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor supporting installations, collaborating with operations, troubleshooting engineering issues and overseeing project activities.Specify, source and implement new plant, machinery and engineering equipment.Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to minimise disruption during project ..... full job details .....
