This is a leadership role to expand a high-impact consultancy offering. You will lead into new markets, build a team around your vision, and deliver innovative solutions that transform clients’ assets into thriving commercial and community assets. It is a chance to build a business within a business, backed by a major consultancy but driven by entrepreneurial spirit.The Role
You will be part of the senior leadership team of Property Commercialisation and Insights. The role has two main functions: (1) grow the PCandI consultancy offering to clients within the PCandI strategy and expand into adjacent high footfall captive audience markets; (2) share responsibility for delivering services to clients in new sectors with the expectation of building a new team around you. You will nurture long-term client relationships to build a sustainable consulting pipeline and position PCandI to secure new and repeat business. The role reports to the Delivery Director and will involve close collaboration with the Commercial Director and the Senior Leadership Team. Nationwide travel is required.
Key responsibilities include growing the PCandI consultancy business, delivering PCandI projects, identifying upsell opportunities, ensuring client satisfaction, upholding safety and regulatory standards, expanding into new markets, contributing to strategic planning, delivering a healthy pipeline, leading bids, planning and delivering projects, developing client relationships, and analysing competitor information.
Key Responsibilities
Lead growth of the PCandI Consultancy business with Business Development to identify and develop new opportunitiesLead delivery of PCandI consultancy projects with the established teamIdentify opportunities to up-sell / cross-sell other servicesConsulting client contract management to ensure satisfaction and performancePrioritise safety and ensure compliance with Amey processes and safety statementsEnsure work complies with RICS guidelines (PCandI regulated by RICS)Identify new markets and customers to diversify the businessSupport Delivery Director, Commercial Director and SLT in market strategy and annual planningDevelop new strategic opportunities aligned with business strategyDeliver pipeline and orderbook growth and convert opportunities into projectsLead and win formal bids within established processesPlan, manage, and deliver consulting projects with the teamDevelop and manage key client relationships as the face of PCandIUnderstand and analyse competitor information

Proven success in consultancy, property commercialisation, or asset managementTrack record of winning work, leading bids, and delivering complex projectsExperience building teams and scaling servicesStrong commercial acumen and strategic thinkingEntrepreneurial mindset with passion for innovation and growthExtensive experience in high footfall space management for commercialisation, operational, and community usesStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsGood understanding of the transport sector and related commercial arrangementsDegree or postgraduate qualification or demonstrable experience in the fieldBidding, business development or project management qualifications considered beneficial
