Project Director - Major Technical Fit-OutLocation: Islington, LondonContract: 18 to 20 monthsDay Rate: 600 to 700 DOE, CIS or Limited CompanyStart Date: Quarter Four Hays Construction is working with a leading specialist contractor to recruit an experienced constructionProject Director for a major refurbishment and fit-out project in Central London. Valued at over 15 million, the scheme will run for approximately 20 months and involves the complete transformation of an existing building into a highly serviced, specialist facility. The project will include a substantial CAT A refurbishment followed by a complex CAT B fit-out, with technical areas, specialist installations and a significant mechanical and electrical package. The Project Director will take the lead on the scheme and act as the contractor''s main point of contact for the client. You will have overall responsibility for the programme, design, commercial performance, procurement and construction delivery through to commissioning and final handover. This will be a well-resourced project, with multiple package and site managers based on site, supported by dedicated design, commercial and building services teams. The contractor also has strong in-house capabilities across several specialist packages, with additional support from a visiting senior director.
