Project Director

Reginald Gray is delighted to be working exclusively with a market-leading contractor to appoint a Project Director to oversee the delivery of major prime residential projects valued in excess of -50M.

The Role

This is a senior, strategic position within the business. Reporting to the Divisional Director, the Project Director will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of complex, high-value residential schemes. You will lead large multi-disciplinary teams, manage key client and consultant relationships, and ensure projects are delivered with the quality, discretion, and attention to detail expected in the prime residential sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction across major prime residential projects (-50M+)
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction and planning through to delivery and handover
• Build and maintain strong relationships with private clients, consultants, and stakeholders at the highest level
• Drive programme, commercial, and operational performance to ensure delivery on time and within budget
• Uphold and promote the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and client service
• Lead, mentor, and inspire senior managers and project teams to perform at their best
• Ensure rigorous adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards

About You

The successful candidate will bring:

• Proven experience as a Project Director (or equivalent senior leadership role) delivering prime residential projects of -50M+ value
• A deep understanding of the demands of the luxury private residential sector
• Exceptional leadership and client-facing skills, with the presence to operate at divisional level
• A strategic mindset with the ability to manage detail where required
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing complex, high-value contracts
