Project Development Assistant Manager

to join our team and support the delivery of major BESS projects across the UK.Responsibilities

Support the

end-to-end development

of battery storage projects – from land acquisition through to planning, grid, and commercial readiness.Support

acquisitions of new projects , and

capital raising processes

to fund the construction of our projectsManage relationships with

landowners, local authorities, grid operators, and external consultants .Assist in the preparation of

planning applications, environmental assessments, and project documentation .Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks, ensuring delivery against key milestones.Work closely with senior team members on

project financing, procurement, and stakeholder engagement .About You

We’re seeking a proactive and organised team player with:Experience in

energy, infrastructure, or property development .Strong project management and organisational skills.Ability to build relationships and influence diverse stakeholders.A genuine interest in the UK energy transition and renewable technologies.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Qualified Chartered Accountant or similar professional qualification or work experienced energy project developer or MandA specialistDesirable: Knowledge of

MandA or financing processes ,

grid connections ,

planning regulations , or
