Mechanical Project EngineerSalary: £30,000 - £40,000 + BenefitsLocation: North WestThe OpportunityAn established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified engineer who enjoys both technical design and project delivery. The role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to manufacture, testing, installation and customer handover. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, production, quality and commercial functions while developing your project management skills. This position would suit an ambitious Mechanical Engineer looking to progress into a project-focused engineering career.Key ResponsibilitiesProject DeliverySupport engineering projects from initial handover through to completion.Coordinate activities across design, manufacturing, purchasing and quality teams.Monitor project schedules, milestones and deliverables.Assist with project planning, progress reporting and customer updates.Identify and communicate project risks, delays or technical issues.Maintain project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.Attend internal and customer meetings and follow up on agreed actions.Support cost, quality and delivery objectives across multiple projects.Mechanical DesignProduce and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings and engineering documentation.Develop practical engineering ..... full job details .....
