Project Delivery Risk Manager - UK Wide (hybrid) – £58,000 to £72,000National Gas is securing Britain’s energy. We transport gas throughout Great Britain, repair and maintain gas pipelines, and manage the meters that allow millions of homes and businesses to access the energy they need. We’re looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Project Delivery Risk Manager to drive the evolution of risk, help us navigate uncertainty and drive smarter decisions across our most critical projects. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of Risk Engineers and shape and embed best-in-class risk management practices across major infrastructure programmes.You will:Lead the identification, analysis, and mitigation of complex project risks across our portfolio.Define and evolve our risk strategy, tools, and methodologies.Collaborate with project teams to improve data quality and risk visibility.Develop and maintain risk registers, contingency plans, and advanced risk models.Present clear, data-driven risk insights to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.Drive continuous improvement in risk processes, tools, and governance.Mentor and lead a team of 8 direct reports and 11 indirect reports, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.What we are looking for / Qualifications

Proven experience in project delivery risk management within large-scale infrastructure, construction or utility projects.Strong leadership skills and a track record of managing high-performing teams.Deep knowledge of risk tools and techniques (e.g. ARM, Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis).Working knowledge of Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QRSA).Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills.Familiarity with integrating risk into cost, schedule, and scope baselines.Valid UK driving licence.If you''re passionate about risk, leadership, and making a difference, we want to hear from you.
