Project Controls Manager
to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering purpose-driven PMO and Controls services across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and built environment projects — including major global programmes. Analytical skills to prepare and critically evaluate performance measures (inc. earned value) and trends across multiple datasetsAbility to focus on key issues, and drive out mitigating or recovery actions across the projectGood people management and task facilitation skillsExperience of implementing robust project controls processes and toolsets in relevant industriesRequired for the position
Due to the nature of this role, offers may be conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of security clearanceA background working on large scale infrastructure projects in sectors including, but not limited to water, transport, nuclear, defenceEducated to degree level and/or hold a project controls or management qualification (e.g. APMG Planning and Controls, EVM, PMQ, Prince2)Flexibility to travel and work in different sectors and clientsRisk management and reporting including the use of ARMKnowledge and proficiency with Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project and/or other planning and resourcing softwareCreate and maintain project schedules that support and align with project requirementsReduce uncertainty on projects by adapting project methodologyProject reporting including monitoring of KPIsUndertake project reviewsAble to coordinate and work with other teams and have basic multi-disciplinary knowledge; Comfortable working as a consultant within a client environmentStrong stakeholder management experiencePreferred but not required
