We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager to lead planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management for a major nuclear project in the UK. If you have a strong background in project controls, team leadership, and NEC contract management, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical infrastructure project.As a Project Controls Manager, you will develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies, ensuring project success through effective reporting and stakeholder engagement. You will lead a team of project controls professionals, fostering collaboration across multiple disciplines to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement project controls plans and proceduresOversee project scheduling, cost control, and risk managementEnsure compliance with nuclear safety and security regulationsLead and mentor a team of project controls professionalsMonitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial forecastsIdentify and mitigate project risks and opportunitiesManage schedules on NEC projects, ensuring contractual complianceEngage with clients, engineers, and project managers to align project goalsProvide accurate and timely reporting on project performanceQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field5+ years of experience in project controls within the nuclear industryExpertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and ExcelStrong understanding of NEC contracts and integrated project schedulesLeadership experience in managing a team of project control professionalsKnowledge of nuclear safety and security requirementsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAdditional Information
