Project Controls ManagerAmentum is seeking a Project Controls Manager to be embedded within one of our Delivery Programmes. You will take responsibility for all aspects of Project Controls, helping to establish, develop, and maintain timely, accurate cost data and reports, including forecasts, performance analysis, earned value, estimates to complete, and monthly reports on Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP). The Project Controls Function acts as a centre of excellence: the intelligent owner of the single source of delivery performance information, enabling successful delivery of the SZC Project.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of the team of Controls functions within the Programme.

liaise with the supply chain and the central client finance team to establish and agree annual budgets and report financial performance in line with shareholder requirements and PMO guidance.

Support the Programme Director with progress reporting, including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification, and opportunities for improvement.

Ensure the Project Controls team produces weekly/monthly reports in line with the PMO reporting calendar, detailing progress, actuals, forecasts, and variance explanations.

Ensure Project Controls processes are consistently applied across the Delivery Programme.

Support and advise Project Managers and the Supply Chain on applying Project Controls requirements, policies, procedures, and standards to deliver projects.

What You''ll Need

Educated to at least degree level, or equivalent training and experience.

Experience shaping and developing strategic changes through management of large programmes.

Experience managing contractors, consultants, and other advisors on large and complex construction programmes in a regulated environment.

Substantial professional work experience in one or more Programme, Project, or Commercial Management disciplines.

Detailed understanding of governance, strategic planning techniques, strategic risk analysis, construction technology, delivery, site logistics, and commercial/legal/contract issues.

Ability to drive performance improvement.

Excellent presentation, influencing, and facilitation skills.
