Our engineering client is seeking an experienced Project Controller to work at their Cambridgeshire office (Hybrid: 3 days in the office)

As an experienced Project Controller will drive all financial activities within multiple small-scale projects and one larger project.
You will act as a business partner to the Project Management team, supporting all financial and commercial matters and actively driving the project''s performance.

Core responsibilities of the Project Controller:-

Provide input to negotiations on commercial issues, during local risk review process, and on the financial aspects of the project execution plan

Prepare project invoices and financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting

Drive and seek for the optimization of project cash flow, revenues, and gross margin contribution, jointly with the Project Manager

Oversee and effectively manages currency risk, and bonds, guarantees, and tax issues

Responsible for the accuracy of project balance sheet, income and cash flow statements, and monthly/quarterly forecast

Participate in opportunity/risk identification, monitors risk mitigation measures, and ensures they are timely implemented

Assume joint responsibility with the Project Manager for all financial aspects of the project and ensures alignment with other functions including Project Controls and Planning/Scheduling

Support the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews and participates in the preparation of project cost report

Promote commercial awareness in the project team and provides commercial input to the project execution plan

Support claim management, back-charges, and insurance cases and monitors the follow-up, jointly with the Contract Manager / Project Manager (towards customer), side-stream (towards consortia partner) as well as downstream (towards suppliers

Support the Tender Manager in effective decision making by reviewing and advising on all financial aspects of the tender
