Project Co-Ordinator
About the Role
Our client is a leading UK manufacturer delivering facade solutions to customers across the UK, and due to continued growth, they are seeking an organised, customer-focused and proactive Project Co-ordinator to join their team in Euxton, Chorley.
This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working closely with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure projects run smoothly from order receipt through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate records.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers and suppliers, providing regular updates on project progress and material schedules.
- Liaise with internal departments including Sales, CAD, Manufacturing, Transport and Accounts.
- Coordinate project schedules and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Book work into production and assist with delivery planning.
- Conduct internal office and factory audits.
- Manage customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Raise and process invoices.
- Maintain filing systems and provide general administrative support.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative, project coordination or customer service role.
- Experience within manufacturing, construction or engineering environments would be advantageous.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Sage experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
