Join NCG s Estates and Facilities team and help shape, improve and maintain the environments in which our students and staff learn and work every day.As Project Building Surveyor, you ll play a key role in delivering a diverse programme of refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects across our college estate. You ll be involved from the earliest concept and survey stages through to design, procurement, contract management and completion.This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled and motivated professional who enjoys managing projects, solving building challenges and seeing ideas become reality.What you ll do You ll manage and support a range of building projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include: Managing small to medium-sized refurbishment, maintenance and space adaptation projects from inception to completion.Carrying out building surveys and condition assessments, diagnosing defects and preparing technical reports and schedules of condition.Preparing design specifications, tender documentation and drawings, working with architects, engineers and contractors.Providing early-stage cost estimates to support budget setting and ..... full job details .....
