Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible in your community and around the world.As a Project Architect at HDR, you will work on projects in various sectors, focusing on Data Centre and Mission Critical projects. You’ll collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary design teams, clients, and contractors across our Global Practice, primarily in the United Kingdom and European regions.In the role of
Project Architect for Data Centres/Mission Critical , we count on you to:Apply knowledge of technical design concepts, design management skills, digital technologies, and workflowPerform layout and detailing on architectural projectsEstablish owner/client and internal meetings; participate in reviews with governing agencies for code complianceManage and execute design activities and produce design documentationConduct work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplinesReview architectural documents for conflicts with other disciplinesPerform QA/QC and technical reviewsWrite and edit architectural specificationsCoordinate with disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change ordersIncorporate changes into project documentsProvide construction contract administration as neededPerform other duties as requiredRequired RequirementsBachelor’s degree in architecture or a closely related fieldRegistered Architect (ARB Registered)Proficient in Autodesk Revit and familiar with related tools and processesExperience in preparing and laying out architectural contract documents and specificationsExcellent written and communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsGraphic presentation skillsUnderstanding of various building contractsKnowledge of building regulations and planning skillsActive participation in our employee-owned culture is essentialPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in ArchitectureMinimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Data Centre/Mission Critical projectsExcellent interpersonal and facilitation skillsAbility to manage workloads efficientlyExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3D Studio Max (not required)Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper#LI-MW4Additional RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in architectureExperience with architectural contract documents and specificationsStrong knowledge of codes and planningWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
