Senior Project Accountant Parking Progression Exciting Business To Work With Location: Peterborough (Hybrid working with occasional travel) Salary: £65,000 - £70,000The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join a growing organisation operating within the energy and infrastructure sector. This is a key role supporting large-scale, long-term projects, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior finance leaders and project teams to deliver high-quality financial insight and reporting.This position is ideal for a commercially-minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare weekly and monthly project reports, including cost analysis and variance commentaryManage long-term project accounting, including capital expenditure recognitionProduce monthly management accounts (PandL and Balance Sheet) and consolidated reportsSupport project budgeting and forecastingDeliver cash flow reporting on a regular basisEnsure compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, year-end accounts, group reporting)Oversee asset and inventory management controlsWork closely with project managers to provide real-time financial insightsSupport MandA activity, including due diligence and post-acquisition integrationAssist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditorsMaintain adherence to internal controls and ISO standardsWhat We''re Looking ForQualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA)Proven experience ..... full job details .....
