Project Accountant

Reed Finance are supporting a client to appoint a Project Accountant. My client is seeking an organised and analytical finance professional to support financial planning, forecasting and programme control activities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and report on financial activities across multiple projectsSupport validation of financial inputs for business proposalsDevelop work breakdown structures, project plans and schedulesPrepare budgets, forecast and Estimate at CompletionMonitor billing milestones and track performance against planIdentify and report financial, programme and resource variancesSupport risk management and value-for-money assessmentsContribute to contract reviews and month-end financial reportingMaintain financial data within SAP and support reporting improvementsEssential Skills and ExperienceStrong understanding of accountancy principlesAdvanced Excel skills and confidence using MS Office and Google SuiteAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesExperience with work package management and cost controlKnowledge of risk management principlesStrong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStructured, methodical approach to planning and reportingBenefitsPrivate Medical InsurancePension: Contributes 6%, Employee 4% basicBikes to Work (up to £3,000) (employee purchase scheme) Technology (employee purchase scheme) My drive (employee car purchase scheme)Den-Plan (employee purchase ..... full job details .....
