The business operates across multiple sites and has recently been through a period of change and restructure.They are now looking to appoint a Project Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the finance function with a number of key improvement initiatives.DescriptionThis is a hands-on, project-focused role, working closely with the finance team to strengthen processes, controls and reporting.Key areas of focus include:Reviewing and improving a highly manual invoicing process, with a view to automationProcess mapping and documentation across the finance functionSupporting IFRS 16 lease workImproving balance sheet reconciliationsSupporting and improving month-end close processesBalance sheet reporting processesProfileQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Supported on finance and process improvement projectsHands on approach and knows what "good looks like" in a finance functionAvailable at short noticeJob OfferCirca £60,000 salary (potentially up to £65,000)33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Hybrid working - 3 days on site 6-month fixed-term contract initially, possibility of long term ..... full job details .....
