Based in Alfreton, you''ll handle day-to-day financial tasks that keep projects on track and compliant.Client DetailsAn organisation specialising in the industrial and manufacturing sector, located in Alfreton.DescriptionThey need a hands-on finance transformation/project professional who can come into the business, understand the current processes, fix gaps and leave behind clear, documented and sustainable processes.WIP and Non-Stocked Processes - Map how transactions flow, identify process owners, improve understanding and ensure monthly reconciliations are completed correctly.Process and SOP Review - Review existing finance processes, identify gaps and create a central, up-to-date library of SOPs with clear controls and ownership.Intrastat - Review SKU commodity/tariff coding, identify gaps, improve the process and establish clear ownership and review points to reduce manual work and compliance risk.Cashflow Forecasting - Build a simple, accurate and easy-to-maintain rolling 12-week cashflow forecast, including a process to review forecast accuracy.Fixed Assets / Syspro - Clean and verify the existing Excel fixed asset register, migrate it into Syspro, test transactions and postings, create reconciliation processes and document the full asset lifecycle.COA Rationalisation - Review and ..... full job details .....
