Progress and Support Tutor

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential£ We are seeking a dedicated Progress and Support Tutor to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality pastoral care, tutorial support, and progression guidance to post-16 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging group and one-to-one tutorial sessions aligned with a central Scheme of Learning.
• Provide personalised support to students, addressing barriers to learning, attendance, and wellbeing.
• Liaise with teaching staff and support services to ensure students receive tailored interventions.
• Support students with progression planning, personal development, and safeguarding needs.
• Contribute to cross-college events and activities that promote inclusion and student engagement.

Essential Requirements:

• A degree or relevant Level 3 qualification.
• English and Maths at Level 2.
• Experience in delivering personal development activities and pastoral support to young people.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, and inclusion in education.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Desirable:

• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
• Knowledge of strategies to support mental health, behaviour, and attendance.
