Our client, a pioneering automotive company, is looking to recruit a Programme Planner who will support structured and effective planning across a flagship vehicle programme. The successful candidate will take ownership of timing plans, manage dependencies, and help keep the programme on track, working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The Programme Planner will:
- Own and implement best practices for programme planning across all functions and workstreams.
- Build and manage cohesive master schedules, integrating feeder plans and resolving conflicts.
- Identify critical paths and risks, supporting mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
- Support the Head of Programme Management in structuring and refining delivery plans.
- Maintain accurate planning data and provide clear reports to stakeholders at all levels.
The Programme Planner will have:
- Experience supporting whole-vehicle automotive or similar product development programmes.
- Strong proficiency in MS Project, including critical path analysis and dependency tracking.
- A degree in mechanical, automotive engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience working within the automotive industry (OEM or engineering services) with an understanding of product development.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication across teams.
