Programme Planner

Programme Planner Havant 40,000 per annum + Progression Opportunities We are recruiting for a Programme Planner to join a growing utilities and infrastructure contractor based in Havant. This is a hands-on planning role sitting close to the operational side of the business. You''ll be responsible for maintaining an accurate picture of the programme, tracking works and making sure the information coming from project and site teams reflects what is actually happening on the ground. We''re looking for someone who is confident using Excel and MS Project (MSP) and who understands how projects move from planning through to delivery. Previous site or construction knowledge would be a real advantage. You don''t necessarily need to come from the water industry, but you do need to understand project delivery and be comfortable speaking with operational teams, asking questions and chasing the information needed to keep the programme accurate. What you''ll be doing: Developing, updating and maintaining project programmes Tracking planned works against actual progress Using Excel and MS Project to monitor programme information Tracking activities, dependencies, milestones and potential delays Working closely with Project Managers, site teams and other departments Regularly chasing progress updates to establish exactly where works are Identifying programme risks, delays and gaps in information Providing accurate programme updates to management and clients Supporting ..... full job details .....
