Base location: Hybrid – Clear Water Court Reading. Working pattern: 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Review project closure reports for sub-portfolios, attend lessons learned workshops, and apply relevant learnings.
Define and adopt appropriate portfolio and project management methodology and tools based on the project''s context.
Provide excellent written and verbal communication with colleagues and stakeholders to update progress and maintain awareness of business needs and priorities.
Proactively identify and manage dependencies within and outside the project.
Oversee and support the selection of third-party suppliers.
Collaborate with digital colleagues, supplier and finance teams to optimise project resources and costs (delivery and run costs) and lead the development of business cases.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in Digital/IT program management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and third-party partnerships.
Experience of financial management up to £10m per annum.
Experience with delivery of IT projects involving management of third-party suppliers.
Technical skills such as SAFe Practitioner, Scrum Master or equivalent.
Experience working with different delivery methodologies, e.g. Agile and Waterfall.
Stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders up to and including executive level.
Additional qualities
Delivery of IT projects involving third party suppliers.
Development/management of SOWs and third-party supplier relationships.
Management of platform replacements involving significant business change.
Ability to challenge supplier cost.
