Programme Manager - Aerospace Engineering

We’re supporting a leading engineering organisation in the aerospace and defence sector to recruit three Programme Managers to lead delivery of complex, high value product development programmes within a highly regulated environment.

This is a strategic, client facing role with ownership of multi million pound programmes, working across international teams to drive delivery from concept through to entry into service.

 Contract Information:

• 12–24 month contracts
• Inside IR35
• Rate DOE - £600-£750pd
• 4 days per week on site in Buckinghamshire
• 40hrs per week
  
  

The Role:

• Take full ownership of end to end programme delivery, ensuring alignment to performance, cost, quality and schedule targets
• Lead large scale, complex engineering programmes, spanning multiple workstreams, suppliers and international sites
• Act as the senior interface to customers and key stakeholders
• Drive programme strategy, governance and delivery frameworks, enabling clear decision making and control
• French speaking is desirable but not essential

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record delivering complex, high value engineering programmes within aerospace, defence or similar regulated industries
• Experience operating at senior programme level, with ownership of multiple workstreams or large scale delivery
• Strong background in full product lifecycle delivery within structured development environments
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and customers
• Deep understanding of programme governance, risk, change and performance management
• Experience leading cross-functional and international teams
• Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers is desirable but not essential
• Familiarity with frameworks such as stage-gate
