Programme Manager (Rail)

Our client, a prominent player in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Programme Manager (Rail) for a long-term contract based around the Liverpool area. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week on-site, and falls outside of IR35. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead major rail infrastructure projects, for someone with experience in new station builds, station regeneration, or station upgrades.Key Responsibilities:Managing major rail infrastructure projects, with a focus on new station builds and station regenerationCoordinating and overseeing various projects within the programme to ensure timely and within-budget completionBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders and managing sub-contractors effectivelyProviding strategic direction and overseeing the implementation of all project activitiesEnsuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standardsConducting risk assessments and providing mitigation strategies for potential issuesCollaborating with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goalsJob Requirements:Experience in rail sector project management, particularly in new station builds, station regeneration, or modificationsBackground as a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager on major rail infrastructure projectsExperience working on rail over road projects is advantageousProven track record in managing sub-contractors and strong stakeholder relationship buildingExcellent communication and ..... full job details .....
