Programme Manager (Mainframe Migration) needed for our Financial Services client based in Edinburgh. Our client is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join their transformation team on an initial 6-12-month contract to lead a critical Mainframe technology migration programme.The right candidate must have extensive demonstrable experience as a senior Programme Manager with a track record of delivering technology related programmes within complex, Financial Services environments, including Mainframe related projects and Programmes. The role will involve providing leadership, oversight and governance across a complex programme involving multiple stakeholders, technical teams and delivery partners. It requires an experienced Programme Manager who will ensure that the migration is delivered successfully, safely and in line with agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.The role is Inside IR35 and requires candidates to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company. The role is hybrid and candidates must be able to work 2-days per week onsite in Edinburgh.Key Skills:Extensive hands-on Programme Management experience delivering complex IT transformation programmes within Financial Services.Demonstrable track record delivering large-scale mainframe migration programmes, including migrations between service providers and/or geographical locations.Knowledge of IBM mainframe technologies and associated platforms, including IBM Z, DB2, MQ, Datacom, SAS, PEGA, CA Tape ..... full job details .....
