The pay rate on offer is -650 per day (via Umbrella agency).

We''re supporting a global banking organisation in the search for an experienced Programme Manager to lead a critical data migration initiative within the Insights & Analytics Sub Value Stream.

This is a high-profile opportunity to take ownership of a complex, multi-market programme focused on migrating data across global platforms and driving the organisation''s wider data transformation agenda. You''ll be responsible for shaping the delivery roadmap, engaging senior stakeholders, managing programme governance, and ensuring successful execution from strategy through to implementation.

The Role

As Programme Manager, you''ll provide end-to-end leadership of a significant data migration programme, working across business, technology, data, operations, risk, and governance teams. You''ll be responsible for defining delivery strategy, building stakeholder alignment, and ensuring the programme delivers against agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and benefits.

A key part of the role will involve assessing migration requirements across multiple global markets, understanding technical and business dependencies, and determining the most effective migration approach. You''ll act as the bridge between business and technology teams, translating complex technical challenges into clear delivery plans and measurable business outcomes.

This role requires a hands-on delivery leader who can drive progress, challenge assumptions, manage risks, and maintain momentum within a complex stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large-scale global data migration programme.
• Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Own programme governance, reporting, RAID management, financial tracking, and benefits realisation.
• Drive stakeholder engagement across business, technology, operations, risk, security, and vendor teams.
• Build consensus and gain buy-in from stakeholders, including those previously engaged with similar initiatives.
• Lead programme planning, forecasting, resource management, and prioritisation activities.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations across multiple workstreams.
• Oversee programme delivery through established Change Frameworks and governance processes.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and SME teams to define scope, requirements, and delivery approaches.
• Ensure successful migration planning, testing, cutover, reconciliation, and post-migration assurance activities.
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, Scrum Masters, PMOs, and contingent resources across multiple locations.

Essential Experience & Skills

• 8+ years'' Programme Management experience delivering large-scale transformation or migration programmes.
• Proven experience leading complex data migration programmes, ideally within global organisations.
• Banking or financial services experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience of SAS, including migration from and to SAS environments.
• Ability to understand and challenge technical solutions whilst engaging credibly with technology teams.
• Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, data lineage, reconciliation, testing, controls, and assurance.
• Experience delivering change within regulated financial services environments.
• Strong governance, reporting, financial management, and programme control experience.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and product-led organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
