Rate: -460 per day inside ir35

Location: Sheffield/Hybrid (3 days per week on site)

Contract: 6 months rolling

We''re looking for an experienced Programme Manager to take the lead on complex, high-profile programmes within a leading global bank, one of the world''s leading financial institutions.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in complex, regulated enterprise environments, bringing together multiple projects, teams and stakeholders to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

The opportunity

You''ll take end-to-end ownership of strategic programmes, driving delivery from initiation through to completion while managing multiple interconnected workstreams.

You''ll be responsible for:

• Leading complex, business-critical programmes across multiple workstreams
• Owning programme plans, roadmaps, milestones, budgets and benefits
• Establishing strong governance, reporting and escalation frameworks
• Managing programme-level risks, issues, dependencies and change
• Leading cross-functional teams across business and technology
• Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, executives and steering committees
• Managing budgets, forecasts, resources and financial controls
• Driving business readiness, transition and benefits realisation
• Ensuring delivery meets governance, regulatory and organisational requirements

What we''re looking for

You''ll need a strong track record delivering complex programmes within large enterprise environments, ideally across banking, financial services or another highly regulated sector.

We''re particularly interested in candidates with experience across:

• Digital transformation
• Technology, data or infrastructure programmes
• Operational resilience
• Risk and regulatory change
• Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery
• Executive-level stakeholder management
• Programme governance and financial management
• Tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Project or Azure DevOps

MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe or equivalent certification would be advantageous.
