Programme Leader for Mathematics - with potential Trust-wide responsibility as a Specialist Leader in EducationWe are seeking an outstanding, inspirational teacher to lead our Mathematics department. This is a rare opportunity within our tight-knit school for an ambitious teacher to shape the future of maths teaching at The Deanes - and, for the right candidate, across our wider Trust.As the Programme Leader for Mathematics, you will:Lead and develop a talented and committed team of teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.Drive excellence in curriculum design, teaching, and outcomes for all learners.Inspire a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement, and a love of mathematics.Contribute to the wider life of the school as a committed and visible leader.For candidates with the passion and proven track record to make an impact beyond one school, this post also offers the possibility of additional Trust-wide responsibilities as a Specialist Leader in Education. The Deanes is a small secondary school where each and every one of our students can feel happy, respected and known as an individual within our safe and accepting community. We are situated within ten minutes of Benfleet and Rayleigh Rail Stations, where a 45 minute train journey will take you into London.
