Programme and Placement Administrator at the University of Plymouth (AP12938) - Bath, BA2 7AY About the role

The Faculty of Science is looking for a pro-active and self-motivated individual to join our team in a role to support the delivery of the University of Bath Pharmacy course at the University of Plymouth campus. This is a busy and varied joint role between the Programmes and Placement teams to support the effective programme and placement delivery. You will form part of the Faculty’s Taught Programmes team, ensuring that key assessment and teaching activities are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will be part of the Faculty’s Placements Team, engaging operationally with all aspects of placement activity and providing specific administrative support to the placements operation for Pharmacy at Plymouth. Be a part of a small but perfectly formed academic and professional services team based on site in Plymouth, involved in supporting the overall delivery of the course. About you

You should have previous experience of working in an administrative role. You will need to work closely with other team members, academic colleagues and students from across the world, so effective customer relation skills are needed. You will be an excellent teammate with a high degree of flexibility and able to work on your own initiative. You should have good digital literacy and a proficiency in Word and Excel, with excellent attention to detail. You will also need strong organisational skills and also be reactive to changing priorities.

While experience in the use of University-specific software (Moodle, SITS and other databases) is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided. Delivering excellent service matters to us, as well as student and staff wellbeing and University reputation. If this approach resonates with you and you are a good teammate, we would encourage you to apply. Further information
