Role Title: Programme Administrator
Type: Temporary Contract (2 to 3 Months)
Hourly Rate: -14 to -16 per hour + holiday pay
Hybrid: Ideally, 2 to 3 days on site each week
Location: Birmingham
Sellick Partnership are working with a leading organisation within the Education sector who are seeking an experienced Programme Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 2 to-3-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to support the smooth delivery of academic programmes during a busy period. The successful candidate will work closely with academic staff, students and professional services teams, ensuring programme administration is delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with university policies and procedures.
The responsibilities of the Programme Administrator will be:
- Providing administrative support across the full student and programme lifecycle, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate student and programme records across internal systems.
- Responding to enquiries from students, academic staff and internal departments in a professional and timely manner.
- Processing assessment administration, including marks entry, examination board documentation and the communication of results.
- Managing student record changes, including withdrawals, transfers, interruptions of study and module amendments.
- Preparing agendas, reports, meeting papers and taking minutes for programme related meetings.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of standardised administrative processes across the department.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues and ensure the effective delivery of programme administration.
- Assisting with attendance monitoring and student engagement reporting.
- Providing administrative support for key university activities such as enrolment, graduation, open days and Clearing.
The ideal candidate for the Programme Administrator role will have:
- Previous experience within programme administration, academic administration or a similar administrative role.
- Experience within Higher Education is advantageous, although candidates from other complex administrative environments will also be considered.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when maintaining records and processing information.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with students, academic staff and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and contribute from day one.
- Good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and student record systems being desirable.
