Unlike traditional contractors, where you are hired by the client, you remain a permanent employee of Peregrine, with access to all our standard benefits:A Permanent Position in a Market-Leading Workforce Solutions companyLife Assurance5% annual bonusPension Scheme – Employer matched to 5%Voluntary Benefits – Health Cash Plan, Dental, Will Writing etcAnnual Leave – 23 days rising to 27 with length of serviceSick Pay – Increasing with length of serviceKey Responsibilities:Accountable for the leadership and delivery of large and complex project(s) across the lifecycle; from campaigns to new business proposals, product design and development to production, bidding for follow-on contracts to in-service support.You will lead, motivate, influence and inspire multi-disciplined teams across the matrix organisation to achieve the business success criteria for your project(s).You will implement effective monitoring and controls to ensure all schedule, budget, quality and financial objectives are achieved.You will pro-actively manage the risks and opportunities for you project(s), working with your teams to identify and close out mitigation and promotion plans in a timely manner.You will develop clear and concise reports on your project(s) performance and frequently present to your project team(s), the business leadership team and our customer.You will be collaborating with various stakeholders to drive effective problem solving.You will nurture and evolve relationships internally and externally, including your team members, the suppliers and our customer.Some travel will be required to various sites and globally on an ad-hoc basis.Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:Essential:Proven experience in the successful delivery of multiple large-scale and highly complex projects across three or more areas of the lifecycleCampaigns and new business proposals and / or product design and development and / or production and / or in-service support.Exceptional leadership behaviours with the ability to coach and mentor highly skilled team members.Proven ability to solve complex problems and the ability to make informative decisions with clarity in a high-pressure environmentExceptional communication skills tailored for executive audiencesDesirable:APMQ or similar project management qualificationExperience in the leadership of a product design and development programme.Broad cross functional business experienceAbout us:At Peregrine, we see beyond the immediate and look to the horizon.
