Key Responsibilities: Operate profiling machinery (e.g. plasma/Oxy-fuel) to cut steel plate to specification Interpret engineering drawings, cutting lists and work instructions Set up, calibrate and adjust machines to achieve accurate cuts and high-quality finishes Carry out basic maintenance and pre-use checks on machinery Monitor production quality and make adjustments to optimise output and minimise waste Work closely with production, welding and fabrication teams to meet schedules Complete all relevant paperwork and data entry as required Adhere to all health & safety, quality and housekeeping standards Requirements: Proven experience as a Profiler / Profiling Machine Operator within a fabrication or heavy engineering environment Confident reading and working from technical/engineering drawings Strong understanding of steel grades, plate thicknesses and cutting tolerances Ab...
