Profiler - Weekend Night Shift

Job Title: ProfilerLocation: NottinghamPay: 21.00 per hourHours: Saturday and Sunday nights (weekend nights only)Gi Pro are working with a well-established steel fabrication business in Nottingham who are looking to add an experienced Profiler to their weekend night shift.Key Responsibilities:Operate profiling machinery (e.g. plasma/Oxy-fuel) to cut steel plate to specificationInterpret engineering drawings, cutting lists and work instructionsSet up, calibrate and adjust machines to achieve accurate cuts and high-quality finishesCarry out basic maintenance and pre-use checks on machineryMonitor production quality and make adjustments to optimise output and minimise wasteWork closely with production, welding and fabrication teams to meet schedulesComplete all relevant paperwork and data entry as requiredAdhere to all health and safety, quality and housekeeping standardsRequirements:Proven experience as a Profiler / Profiling Machine Operator within a fabrication or heavy engineering environmentConfident reading and working from technical/engineering drawingsStrong understanding of steel grades, plate thicknesses and cutting tolerancesAbility to operate CNC profiling equipment (plasma/oxy) - programming experience advantageousHigh attention to detail and accuracyGood awareness of health and safety in a workshop/production environmentReliable, punctual and comfortable working weekend night shiftsShift Pattern and Pay:Working: Saturday night and Sunday night (weekend nights ..... full job details .....
