- National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £25,000 to £31,200 and London £27,500 to £34,300 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)About the FCAThe FCA regulates the conduct of 45,000 firms in the UK to ensure our financial markets are honest, fair and competitive. The FCA’s purpose is to protect consumers and maintain confidence in the financial system.You will be supporting within the Payments and Digital Assets division, liaising across two teams to support with various administrative tasks such as organising meeting invites, setting up team away-days, fulfilling recruitment needs and assisting in team operational tasks. You will liaise closely with other colleagues in similar supporting divisions such as Personal Assistants (PA) and Professional Business Support (PBS) colleagues to ensure the effective running of the department, playing a key role prioritising organisational engagements.What will you be doing?

Working closely with colleagues within the teams to ensure the effective running of the departmentManagement and regulation of diaries including co-ordinating attendance of external meetings, including meeting room bookings, travel, accommodation, and expensesManaging and being accountable for joiner/mover/leaver IT requirements and resolving ad hoc issues or queries on behalf of the managersWorking alongside local Personal Assistants (to the Heads of Department and the Director) to manage and coordinate the department''s administrative activities, including ensuring there is adequate administrative coverWhat will you get from the role?

Experience of strong diary management using Microsoft OutlookExperience managing key administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience in managing room-booking systems and arranging travelEssential

Sound knowledge and confidence using OneNote, Outlook and other similar packages, and the ability to get up to speed quickly with new systemsExcellent spelling, grammar and written communication skillsAbility to work autonomously, prioritising and working under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracyFlexibility to adapt and react to changing circumstances, reprioritising as necessaryAbility to handle staff confidential data with a high degree of discretion, always maintaining confidentialityAbility to build good working relationships and networksStrong oral communication skills, summarising key issues in a timely fashionOur Values and Diversity
