The role requires maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The post holder works closely with various departments to support month-end and year-end closing processes and provides detailed financial analysis to assist management decision-making. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors during audits Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial data and variance analysis Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, company policies, and accounting principles Process and verify invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls ..... full job details .....
